Old Man Winter?

I wasn’t expecting him to show up quite yet but it looks like he’s do to arrive any moment.  We have a winter storm warning with 4-8 inches of snow possible…yikes!  We brought in our peppers and such..who knows, maybe we’ll save ‘em this year.  These plants have been good to us this yearDSC02789.  I hope to grow some hotter ones next year but these look hot don’t theyDSC02790.  Looks like a hot pepper ammo beltDSC02791.  Speaking of hot events…my daughter turned 18 at the end of AugustDSC02794.  Why the Lilo cake you may ask?  Long story…to make it short my daughter felt ripped off when she wanted one in her younger years so what did we do?  Got her a Lilo cakeDSC02795!  Looking outside today it’s hard to imagine warmer days in the parkDSC02796.  Sun shinning brightly still in the eveningDSC02797…even flowers blooming seems hard to remember on days like todayDSC02798.  Storms have rolled in big timeDSC02799.  This isn’t your thunder storm varietyDSC02800…it’s heavy rain now thinking of turning to heavy wet snow this eveningDSC02801.  It makes me wonder if I can hide my head like our salamanderDSC02805but I don’t think I’d pull it off do you?

    1. The peppers were really nice Toodie though I wish we could have found more creative uses for them. I'm with you on both my daughter and the weather. Where does time go?

    1. If only I could Keith, apparently I'm not authorized to make such negotiations. Our 8" of snow turned about to be about a 1/4" of slush :(
