Wild Blue Yonder

Our stunning blue skies have returned after days of gloom.  The sunsets do add flair to the gloom occasionallyDSC03255but I am a true fan of clear skies.  It’s spring like today on every level.  The tender greens of spring seem fitting this first day of MayDSC03256.  The buds have opened up to this year’s first leavesDSC03257and outside sounds like a bird sanctuary!  A robin greeted me this morning with a curious look from our roof topDSC03258.  I was on our deck looking out over springs approach beyond our fenceDSC03259.  Many are the signs of spring however the refilling of the irrigation ditch is one of my favorite to seeDSC03260.

    1. The funny thing is that it's still been quite cold some days but the birds refuse to stop singing and the trees refuse to stop budding. I find it rather insuring!
