Short and Sweet

One of my favorite things about spring is the lengthening days.  Give me more sunlight any day!  The light these days has an almost surreal tintDSC03212.  The sun kisses the treetops and sky in a way that makes me feel like I’m in a wonderland of sortsDSC03213.  No wonder they call this Big Sky countryDSC03214!  We often burn candles to memorialize people or events.  The sun ignites the tree tops to remind us of spring’s welcome entranceDSC03215!

  3. Beautiful.. Beautiful poetic words and images to go with it. There is something about that warm light on the trees that adds beauty in the unexpected or almost unexplained. .
Lovely Joe. It looks like home to me.

  4. Oh, Joe, what a beautiful post. I stayed with each photo for the longest time and just breathed them all in. Ever write poetry? You should. You're a true wordsmith :D

Great to be back and read you again. Today is my first day back at the computer after that lovely knee surgery last week, haha.

    1. Greetings my friend...perhaps spring brings out the poet in us all. I know it's such a great thing to see that it always brings a smile to my face. I pray your knee is quickly recovering.

    1. Not yet summer my friend but it is warming up finally. We have 143% snow pack in some areas so flooding is a real danger. California fries and dries...we freeze and have tons of snow.

  6. If I would have tried a year, I could NOT have found a better analogy than you did here about the tree tops aflame with the glory of Spring!

  8. Joe, when you get a bored moment, go over to my page and read the "techy" post called "To Enter Blog Heaven, read THIS". A bunch of us have fixed out setting, and it's soooo easy to do and now we don't have to keep running back and forth to see if someone replied to our reply on their own post. It all comes in an email to you and it's super easy to make a reply to a reply from that. It'll make sense when you read it, haha.
And HEY, you aren't following me anymore? Oooooooo! Come on!

:D big hug sent to you as always
