The End of the Beginning.

The weather has been all over the place.  Negative temperatures and blizzard conditions to clear and forties…even near fifties.  Right now we’re in another melt offDSC02981.  My problem with the weather is that it can’t all be enjoyed from insideDSC02982.  My wife’s close call on icy roads, a congregation of people dealing with the same…no, It’s not something I and those I love are unaffected by.  I long for warmer weather…less restriction to travel…even the sound of lawns being mowedDSC02983.  I realize full well the current melt off isn’t the end of winterDSC02984…it’s not even the end of the ice and snow we already haveDSC02985.  We won’t be seeing green grass for some timeDSC02986.  I know our snow certainly won’t be done yetDSC02987.  But as I stand here alone today it gives me hope for things to comeDSC02988.

  1. Attempting to comment here with my tablet. I think with all the snow and severe cold etc it will feel even longer than normal winter. I sure am tired of it already..hope mother nature hears all our cries and comes early. Stay warm and well my friend.

  2. Ok I am still here making my last rounds through my feed. We have 2 feet of snow and it never melts all winter. Might be regretting staying this extra day as we are going to get a big dump. At the truck is all packed, just cleaning and closeing house now. I can't believe the fluctuation of temps you can get there. Kinda hard to settle in when it is changing all the time. Well stay warm and enjoy those moments outside catching the little detail you always seem to see.

  3. Hi Joe.. Im with you with the weather , the conditions of all the roads also. I love for times when people are safe to interact with and not living in fear of H1NI . Im so happy your wife is ok and I do know how that feels for a winter and it has lasted longer.
Stay safe , stay warm . . and keep thinking green. :)

  4. Even though I'm an unabashed winter lover (as you know from my FB) I don't like when the roads are treacherous and people's safety is compromised. Here's hoping for a safe winter for all :)
