Return of the Grey

I shouldn’t be surprised to see some cold and rain return, I really shouldn’t.  The weather has been spectacularDSC02392.  The way to and from the mailbox is like the Garden of EdenDSC02393.  The smell of the blossoming trees is cloying but I love it.  Thankfully we are all allergy free and mightily enjoy the season.  Gabby loves the weatherDSC02394.  She is a ball of energy.  She easily keeps up with me on my walk/run and I love having her along.  There’s a lot of beautiful blossoms right nowDSC02395but none of them match my family…they’re the blooms of my life!  My eldest daughter Danielle graduates this Sunday.  I still am stunned at it all.  We are so very proud of her.  It may be the sunset of one chapter of our livesDSC02396but it’s beautiful by God’s graceDSC02397.  Greys of today become the beautiful blue skies and/or sunrises and/or sunsets of tomorrow!

  1. What a lovely series of photos, Joe. The rain, wind and chilly temperatures are here in Montreal as well. I absolutely love your last paragraph about the greys of today becoming the beautiful blue skies and sunrises and/or sunsets of tomorrow. God bless you; such a beautiful and inspiring post.

    1. My daughter's graduation went well. We were surrounded by those that love and pray for us which was an amazing feeling. We are under flood advisories now...from dry to flood conditions just like that.

  7. Man, I went thru it trying to make a comment half hour ago on the iPad. I wrote it all out and suddenly blogger closed and there I was on the front page of my iPad. That happened twice. (fault lies here on my end I am positive and with blogger too for closing.)
I wanted to congratulate beautiful (and she IS!) Danielle and ask if she was going on in school or starting her career?

I always have loved and always will any of the travel pics you post! They are dalways a treat for me to see. You have been farther than I in the world.

Are you going to the Philippines? (did I spell that right?)

    1. Sorry for your trouble on commenting Carole. Some people assume it doesn't work when it's actually set to have my approval before the comment appears but you know this. I'm not sure what's going on though in the past I've had trouble with such things. We're very proud of Danielle and are going to go on a vacation in June to visit our relatives in Florida...no plans yet beyond that...we've hit the ground running and want to breathe easy for once. The Philippines is out there yet it's so dangerous. We really need to visit my MIL so we hope for that yet it's no game...a trip like that could be your last if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. Congrats again on your son's wedding BTW! I'm happy for you all!
