Fortunately I took some pictures before the May showers and gloom fell once again. I honestly don’t do well with days of gloom so today I figure focusing on the past brighter days is certainly in order. Spring’s new growth is very uplifting. Hope seems to surround us this time of year. I’m a big fan of the good in life. This year a Robin couple took up resentence in a formerly abandoned nest. The mother seems quite suspicious. Green is my favorite color and nothing beats spring green. This is the leaf tunnel to our mail box. Some other colors are out there too. Montana’s ever present pine joins in spring celebration. Yes, Dandelions are weeds but they always seem to remind me of childhood days gone by. New leaves are still popping out…hopefully the cold nights near freezing won’t hamper their growth. Mom got a little ornament for Mother’s Day. No gift could cover what a blessing she is to me. Morning often brings unexpected visitors like this dragon fly drying itself from morning dew. Some faces are more beautiful than others. As a kid we’d say: “Don’t be a pansy.” I don’t know…pansies look pretty amazing to me!
In God;s creation there is always hope for what the morrow will bring to erase the gloom.
ReplyDeleteHope springs eternal John.
DeleteAbsolutely gorgeous, Joe!
ReplyDeleteI only wish it was like that now. It's really nasty out right now.
DeleteThey do indeed. I love them. I usually have some I plant in October and they brighten my whole winter...snow and all.
ReplyDeleteThey were a favorite of my grandma on my Mom's side too. You might say they have both hope and history.
DeleteThings look wonderful there Joe, better than here I think. I have a feeling maybe our summer will be showing up really early with all the heat we have had,Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteIt's a strange year for us...not sure what we'll have with so many ups and downs. Today is to die for in its beauty.
