Turbulent

The weather often imitates how things are in life.  Sometimes it’s as peaceful as a beautiful sunsetDSC03318.  I like it when nature mirrors my inner peaceDSC03319.  My youngest had her first piano recital which was an absolute joyDSC03321.  I actually posted more pictures of that via Facebook.  Lovely, Gabby and I braved the recently unstable weather to visit her friend far out in the countryDSC03322.  We never found her friend…it’s obvious that we live in the 4th largest state sometimesDSC03323.  Later some big storms rolled in bringing flash flooding in town…it still feels very uneasy now though in spite of the severe storm watches nothing has developed thankfully.  It remains to be seen if my sense of unease is justifiable.

    Congrats on your daughter's first piano recital Joe. And I hope the worst of the storms steer clear of your area. I love the beautiful skies on those pics Joe.

      Thanks Keith, it was a good time with Gabby. The Yellowstone River is near flood stage now...the forecast is rocky...we'll see.

    Beautiful pictures, Joe! I agree with Keith, the sky is absolutely amazing. Often times I feel, too, like the weather mirrors how I feel. I'm so glad to hear you were so happy with your daughters first piano recital. And I sure hope the uneasy feeling will pass! Have a wonderful weekend!

    No severe weather thankfully. There are times when it's goo that the weather msn gets it wrong! Gabby loves piano, it's been wonderful watching her progress!

    Love the pictures! We had some scary storms here last night--I didn't get much sleep because of it. It thundered on and off from midnight til 4 a.m.

      Thank you Stephanie, I appreciate your comment. Storms are fascinating subjects to be sure. Now we're getting on the edge of flooding so it's sobering. This weekend promises more strong storms, we'll see.
