I guess I don’t care which. Still, the sunsets have the edge lately. The kids and I have been going out in the evenings when it’s cooler to kick around the soccer ball. This opens up some nice picture opportunities of the sunset when we’re done. I hear there have been fires in Washington state. This can make for interesting skies. This is actually more noticeable in the mornings. The evening skies take my breath away. There’s a build up then a soft fade as it gets darker. This morning the sun had a distinctive orange cast from the smoke…this cannot be seen directly but on the ground and through windows it’s really evident. Whether it’s sunrise or sunset where you are bless you my friends.
as long as you only kicking the soccer ball and don't mistake the sun.
ReplyDeleteI'll try to be careful John ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful series, Joe, thank you so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGlad to share my friend though admittedly few seem into blogging anymore.
DeleteGreat pictures. How beautiful nature can be, even with serious trouble. Sure feel for those in the way of the fires.
ReplyDeleteThe smoke here has been pretty thick. From what I 'be heard there's been very little containment. I can hardly believe all this isn't even in our state.
DeleteBeautiful colors you are getting. Yes with all the smoke in the air I am sure there will be some great photos coming from the fires. We have been so lucky with very little smoke even though we have quiet a few fires in just a 50 mile radius. Thunderstorms expected this Wednesday. They are just gettting a handle a some of those fire near us and now more lightening on the way. It's just plane crazy.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the storms will have more rain than lightning.
