I think I doubt that with snow. Not only did all the snow melt off after the last go ‘round but also the cold departed. All too quickly it all came back. We’ve shoveled out several times (even Gabby has helped). The snow mushrooms returned with a vengeance. Hand rails went back to being snow rails, the deck went back to being useless. Is it beautiful? I suppose it ishowever who can stand out and enjoy it when it’s far below zero. The thermometer is snow capped as if to capitalize the situation. It’s picturesque, I can’t deny it. The trees are neatly decoratedbut I’m weary with whiteand I’m ready to see the trees under the snow. I mean are these evergreens or ever whites? I’m way done shoveling…though it’s been my only outdoor exercise lately. I never realized we lived in the North Pole…or is this Santa’s workshop? Today it’s much warmer…it’s all melting off again. Does this mean that the sun has set on winter at last? Whatever the case, ring the bell, I’m done.
Beautiful snow photos, Joe!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda, I'm about snowed out though.
DeleteYou know, you have a stunningly beautiful State. No one ever can deny its majesty. But you sure do "pay" for that in weather. I am thinking you get, like, 3 months a year of halcyon weather!! The rest, the pits! BUT in a beautiful State!
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that since I'm used to it I don't consider what most in the east would consider bad actually bad...however this year even I think it's been rough.
DeleteEine Kleiner Elevatormuzik! LOVE that title.
ReplyDeleteHa, ha! That's from a game...as are most in the song list this time!
DeleteJoe these snow pictures are totally amazing. I do feel bad for wishing snow winter on every one though :) OI mean it's good for me, but I have a feeling that the entire continental US is a bit mad at me lol
ReplyDeleteDid you get all that much snow this year? We broke records even for us. I will be fine with loving a hot summer to balance things out ;)

.
It's finally warmed up some but with all the snow melting it's quite humid making it feel colder than it is. Sometimes you just can't win :/
DeleteWould you believe that not seeing it for a few weeks I see the beauty . God Bless Joe . Can't wait to be home . I'm homesick today for Canada ,
ReplyDeleteWow, I don't think I'd ever miss it! I hope you're having a great time Lisa!
DeleteSOON! That absolutely peerless beauty that is Montana will be shining out!
ReplyDeleteIt was wet, heavy snow last night but bright and sunny now. 31 degrees at the moment with 50s all the rest of the week, we're getting there but flood advisories abound.
ReplyDeleteYou are still getting dumps. I know our town up north was getting tons of snow all winter. I have a feeling our place up there may have over 4 feet of snow. We easily have seen 3 feet while there before but much more came this year. Unlike most people who's know melts always it doesn't melt at our place. So I think when we return there will be lots of snow still on the ground till May unless it heats up big time. Yes I think everyone should be real concerned about flooding everywhere.
ReplyDeleteThis is moisture on a level unheard of around here. If spring is wet this could be horrible...already surrounding areas are getting it bad.
DeleteFinally downloaded blogger on another device and I can finally post a blog and comment on others without hassle , I just might be back in business without frustration, you could be in trouble now lol
ReplyDeleteUh-oh! LOL!
